Located in Central California, Bonsai Wolf Japanese Dogs is a small kennel. Our goal is to educate about and help preserve Shiba Inu and Shikoku Ken.
Owner Handlers in the AKC show ring, we groom, train and show our dogs entirely by ourselves. Our breeding program focused on aligning to the breed standard, health and temperament so that you are bringing home an accurate representation of the breed.
We socialize our dogs around people, other dogs, animals, and desensitize them to being handled and loud noises. We focus on breeding the best temperament we can, they are loved and provided with the best quality care. Our dogs are part of our family, and we love them dearly, therefor any future parents of our pups will be vetted with an application and questionnaire.

No breedings have taken place yet. But we hope to see a litter around the end of 2023 or beginning of 2024.
Saki X Kenji – Shikoku Ken
We hope to expect our first litter the beginning of 2024. No breedings have taken place yet.
